She is also an accredited AKC judge for Field Trials and Hunt tests

Jeri will come to your home to teach you to train your dog in his own environment.

Training Methods

I prefer a positive approach to dog training.

Teaching the dog the behavior you desire and offering a reward for the correct behavior encourages the dog to do the right thing

However, since all dogs and people are different I will help you find the method that works best for you and your dog.

New puppies can begin house training and simple obedience as soon as you bring them home, as early as 7-8 weeks of age. What a great way to start. If the puppy is taught the right things to do, he will be less likely to get into bad habits.

Older dogs can also learn new behaviors. Just because the dog is older does not mean that it is unable to learn.

Training should be fun for you and your dog.
